Summary:
The Laboratory Testing Technician will be responsible for conducting experiments and tests in a laboratory setting to collect data that will be used by scientists and researchers.
The technician will also be responsible for maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment, preparing samples and ensuring that laboratory protocols are followed.

Responsibilities:
Conducting experiments and tests using laboratory equipment and protocols Recording and interpreting data from experiments and tests Preparing samples for analysis using standard laboratory procedures Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring it is calibrated and functioning properly Reporting any equipment malfunctions or necessary repairs to laboratory management Following established safety practices and procedures in the laboratory Completing reports and documentation related to laboratory research and testing Collaborating with scientists and researchers to ensure experiments are conducted in a timely and efficient manner Maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment Ensuring compliance with laboratory and industry regulations and guidelines Required
Qualifications:
Associate degree in a scientific field or equivalent experience Previous laboratory experience preferred Understanding of laboratory procedures and protocols Ability to accurately collect and record experimental data Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to follow safety protocols and guidelines Physical Demands:
Required to stand for extended periods of time Must be able to lift and move laboratory equipment and supplies May be required to wear protective clothing and equipment in the laboratory setting, including lab coats and safety glasses.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
