This position is primarily responsible for picking and packing orders for wholesale customers using a scanner.
This job is a great way to learn basic warehouse and shipping/receiving skills for a bright motivated person.
Hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:
00 AM - 4:
00 PM and Friday 8:
00 a.
m.
to 12:
00 p.
m.
, with opportunity for additional overtime.
Essential Job Functions Use handheld scanner to pick items for the order Pack costumes and packing slip Apply shipping label Responsibilities & Duties Follow warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse Ensure that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping Handle all merchandise with appropriate care Preserve safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat Experience / Knowledge / Abilities Must be able to process orders accurately and with an attention to detail Dependable Team player Must be a self-motivated hard-working person Honest High school diploma or equivalent Experience in Shipping & Receiving a plus but not required Must be able to pick up/carry up to 50 lbs.
