- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience - Answer phone calls and schedule appointments, providing accurate information to patients - Verify patient insurance coverage and collect necessary co-pays or payments - Maintain patient records and update information as needed - Assist with medical administrative support tasks, such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents - Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up on test results - Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns Skills:
- Front desk experience in a medical office setting - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures - Proficiency in medical scheduling software or systems - Familiarity with medical administrative support tasks, such as maintaining records and handling confidential information - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Experience with phone systems and handling high call volumes Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
