Planner Scheduler
PURPOSE
Execute the quoting, planning, scheduling, job order and inventory management functions required to support fabrication of Vessels products in accordance with order fulfillment and stocking requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties may include:
Primarily release job orders and, occasionally, stock job orders in accordance with the ERP process and work instructions.
Input both custom and stock design routings and hours into the ERP system based on input from Estimating or similar vessel routings.
Participate in generating the production schedule status reports for weekly production meetings by identifying the current backlog.
Assist and mentor co-workers, as required.
Follow the 5S system.
TOOLS
Computer.
Forklift operation may be required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS

At least, 3 to 5 years in a manufacturing environment, with 2 years planning experience and an understanding of inventory processes.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma and/or GED.
Related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
